File:EP5 Gallery 2.JPG|Ran notices Conan has some new shoes, which are from Professor Agasa. Really they're muscle stimulating shoes that makes his legs and feet stronger. Conan also has new glasses with a listening device in the frame.

File:EP5 Gallery 3.JPG|Kogoro gets even more annoyed: Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko are on the train too, as their parents paid for their tickets.

File:EP5 Gallery 5.JPG|The men go to meet a client. Conan plants the glasses' transmitter in some gum under their seats, but gets caught. Ran and the Detective Boys scold him, wrap the gum in paper and put it in the seat's ash tray - where Conan will be able to hear even better!

File:EP5 Gallery 6.JPG|Conan sees the men face to face and realizes they aren't the men in black, but strangers! They also don't have the same briefcase that they left with.

File:EP5 Gallery 7.JPG|Through the bug, Conan hears that the men exchanged briefcases with their client, who now has a bomb in their case, and by pressing a few buttons at 15:10 the person will unknowingly detonate it! The men then leave at the next stop, with Conan unable to catch them.

File:EP5 Gallery 8.JPG|Conan thinks all is lost but remembers that their client is still on the train. He has 40 minutes to find who the passenger is, get the briefcase and disarm the bomb. But there must be over 200 passengers on board!

File:EP5 Gallery 9.JPG|Conan loses Ran and tries to inform train security, but they won't listen. The only help he can get is the Detective Boys, who think he's up to something, though he denies it. Conan deduces from the conversation he overheard that the meeting was in a non-smoking dining car that could see the scenery.

File:EP5 Gallery 10.jpg|They arrive at the top floor of Train Car 7 knowing the mystery client has to be there. There are four suspects. All Conan can do is investigate one by one.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 10.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 11.jpg|The first suspect is a businessman. He is on his laptop looking at Online Stock Trade and wears a gold watch: probably loaded, and info on the gold market is right up his alley.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 11.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 12.jpg|The second is a woman with a newspaper, a cell phone and a briefcase. When Conan asks she denies meeting any men in black, but she could see Mount Fuji from her window.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 12.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 13.jpg|The third suspect is an old man. He's hard of hearing so when Conan asks if he's been to the Dining Car, he replies that he loves amusement parks!
+
File:EP5 Gallery 13.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 14.jpg|The fourth is a man that looks like a gangster and wears a lot of gold jewelry. The man wipes his glasses using a napkin with the logo of the diner. Conan is sure this man is the client.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 14.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 15.jpg|When Conan tries to open the briefcase, the man notices and startles him into dropping it. The Detective Boys catch it but then the businessman scares them into dropping it again - it opens to reveal nothing but boxer shorts, and the kids are kicked out of the train car.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 15.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 16.jpg|Ran finds the four kids and takes them back to their car. Conan checks his watch: 14 minutes left. Conan has cleared one suspect but which of the remaining three has the bomb?!
+
File:EP5 Gallery 16.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 17.jpg|Conan is about to tell Ran his true identity, but then he realizes the woman must have lied - her seat is on the wrong side to see Mt. Fuji. She had no reason to lie about seeing it from the dining car except to cover up the deal with the men in black. She's the client! She has the briefcase bomb and Conan has only one minute to stop her!
+
File:EP5 Gallery 17.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 18.jpg|Conan escapes Ran again and with only seconds remaining, kicks the briefcase out of the window. The train is safe!
+
File:EP5 Gallery 18.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 19.jpg|Conan is found by Ran (who hopes the explosion had nothing to do with him) and she takes him back to their train car.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 19.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 20.jpg|The Express Train stops at the next station - Inspector Megure's squad has come up from Tokyo to investigate. The Mouri family misses the wedding, but they get souvenirs.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 20.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 21.jpg|The business woman is arrested for her part of the deal: she had bought the briefcase but they didn't tell her how to open it. They gave her the cell phone with instructions to call at exactly 15:10, to keep both the information and the money to themselves.
+

File:EP5 Gallery 22.jpg|After a little legwork, the goons are arrested at the penthouse suite of a hotel and the case is closed.
+
File:EP5 Gallery 23.jpg|
File:EP5 Gallery 23.jpg|But Conan's mystery remains unsolved: the real men in black, whom he mistook the goons for, are still at large. Until he finds them, he'll have to remain a kid detective solving other people's puzzles as he unwraps his own.
+

File:EP5 Gallery 24.jpg|Ran tries to make Conan finish what he said before about who he really is. Luckily, the Detective Boys save him and say he's called, "Mr. Genius Trouble Maker".
