Conan investigates further and finally confronts with the culprit. Conan finally solves the case and confronts Ray Curtis. He first explains how Ray managed to switch on the light. He points out that the room that Ray switched on the light was right below the victim's room. He then kicks the soccer ball at the floor which the victim's room was on and the ball then hits the broom that is set up such that the cabinet door is supported by it. After the ball hits the mop, the cabinet door will fall and hit the switch, thus the light will switch on. - In this case appeared a character named Ray Curtis, professional soccer player. He got it's name of a popular detective named Rey Curtis from Law & Order series. The only difference is in first name where is "e" exchanged for "a". Conan is also his big fan.
