Fukami Endo (遠堂 深美 Endō Fukami?) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background

Fukami Endo is a woman living in Tokyo. She used to have husband, but he scammed her and left her. She married him after following the fortunes of Sadako Baba, the famous medium, but after her failure, she started to resent Sadako, to the point of going to complain at her after a live broadcast at Nichiuri TV along with Shinsuke Kanawa and Ryoichi Sazanami. Later on, Baba was killed and she was suspected because of her strong motive. In the end, she is cleared of suspicion through Sleeping Kogoro's deduction and the true culprit, Sazanami, was arrested.

Personality

Endo is a person who jumps to conclusions quickly, which made her resent Baba on baseless motives. She is also revealed to Conan that she is a weak-willed person.

Appearance

She is a short woman with freckles and wears purple glasses. She has chestnut-dyed hair in a bob cut and wears a sweater and a light vest.

Endo, along with Kanawa and Sazanami, who felt resentment towards Baba, were the prime suspects in her murder case since their belongings were found on the crime scene and they had strong motives. After investigating, Conan finds out that Endo and Kanawa's motives weren't that strong, as they aknowledged their own fault and reveals through Kogoro that the true culprit was Sazanami.
