Ayumi Fujimura (藤村 歩 Fujimura Ayumi?), born September 3, 1982 in Tokyo, is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Ken Production.

In the Magic Kaito: Kid the Phantom Thief TV specials, she voices Aoko Nakamori.

Biography

Born on September 3[1], 1982[2] in a family of three siblings[3], Fujimura is a Tokyo native[1]. In her childhood, she was fascinated with animation series Sailor Moon and wanted to be in its universe. Realizing that this was not possible, she sought instead to become a voice actress, as this was the closest to become part of anime and was thrilled at being able to "transform" into characters[4]. After graduating from the SHOBI College of Music in Bunkyo, Tokyo, she joined voice acting school School Duo in 2003[5],[6]. She chose School Duo, operated by Ken Production, because it seemed like the best choice for her after she talked to her teachers[4].

She became a voice actress for the first time in 2004, being featured in PlayStation 2 game Suikoden IV[7]. On April 1, 2019, she announced that she was taking an indefinite hiatus from the voice acting industry[8].
