Plot
The Murder
Kogoro and Heiji are hired to solve the case of murders in a mansion deemed the spider god. Heiji and Kazuha found the American named Robert Taylor who's a photographer. After that, the spider god's victims are always found hanged. Afterwards, they find a man hanged.

After the dinner, Nobakazu go to the shed to make some puppets, but when they discover that Nobukazu was not sleeping they search for him and so hanging on the shed.
The Suspicion
The case continue and Conan and Heiji investigate further in the case.

When Kazuha is searching for the charger she was then put to sleep and the culprit is trying to murder her but not continued because Heiji, Conan, Ran and Kogorou are searching for her.

Remastered version
On October 29, 2007, a remastered version of the case was aired. All three episodes were edited and combined into one hour long special, and scenes were edited out to fit the timeslot. However, exclusive to the remastering new scenes were added to this version.
