He then revealed the final clue that the culprit is '''Izumi Sano'''. She killed Chihiro who dated a friend of the suspect group then ruthlessly dump him. The accident he had loading his skeet shotgun was actually suicide. She then says how the victim was already two-timing with Kunitomo Oda. Oda reveals it was a mistake and that he was the one who started the relationship leaving the murderer silenced.
