Situation

Kogoro is carried by Ran and accompanied by Conan one night picking him up from a bar. While walking they witness a fight in an apartment. The next day a murder occurs.

One of the man who's heard arguing comes to Kogoro for help to prove his innocence. The man has made good suggestions on where to find evidence which are in fact too good.

-Conan finds out that '''Hiroshi Nakamoto''' is the culprit. He's lying and is trying to trick Kogoro into proving his false alibi. All the evidence (except the tape) were tampered by the murderer and in directing a loop onto proving his innocence, he shifts the blame to the professor which he hold grudge upon. After a witness confirm his presence on giving Kogoro the restaurant ad, it ensures his time at the "imaginary fight scene", Nakamoto can then asked the detective to do his deduction bidding rather than "leaving it to chances". Nakamoto conceded his guilt with the mistakes on his own words and was fooled by the detective as he laughed comically.
