The 34th Detective Conan opening is now being used in the anime. It is sung by Natsu Iro and is titled "Kimi no Namida ni Konna ni Koi Shiteru".
The 43rd Detective Conan ending is now being used in the anime. It is sung by Mai Kuraki and is titled "Koi ni Koishite".

The 16th Detective Conan movie entitled "The Eleventh Striker" was released in Japanese theaters on April 14, 2012.
Two new Magic Kaito specials have been announced to air in August as part of 2012's Kaitou Kid's Summer Festival. The specials are entitled The Brilliant Rivals and The Secret of the Red Tear.
This year's Mystery Tour in Nagasaki is scheduled to end on November 25, 2012.
