  Kogoro gives a speech at his Alma Mater's festival but it turns out he was only interested so he could flirt with the female students! Ran, Conan and Sonoko come along and aren't impressed.

  Conan knows this is nonsense and that he a.k.a. Shinichi knows Ran loves him because of the way she made him confess. "If you're a Detective then deduce what's in my heart!"
• A man is muttering to himself about him wanting Kogoro to hurry up and finish. Ran intoduces herself as Kogoro's daughter and asks the man if he had business with Kogoro. He asks Ran if shes been to Crime Scenes with her father. Sonoko interrupts and says "all the time". They follow the man.

• The man wants her to go into the haunted house and confirm the accuracy of the zombies. He is introduced as Tsujiei. He says "We thought that someone who's seen numerous murdered victims with their own eyes would be able to give a more realistic assessment!"

  Hachiya, Anna and Mutsumi introduces themselves. Anna and Mutsumi appear from behind the curtain, Anna has her make up on but Mutsumi doesn;t

  Tsujiei and Hachiya discuss their dead friend Hashiguchi, who commited suicide by poison just a month ago aftter he was told he had an incurable illness and only half a year left to live. The ones who discovered his body were themselves plus Mutsumi and Anna.
• Hachiya explains. "Then Anna became enthusiastic about making the movie in memory of the late Hashiguchi." Then Tsujiei disappears. So Hachiya says to go straight ahead to the exit whilst he looks for Tsujiei.

  The group stumble upon an operating room after failing to find the exit. The patient is Anna. The doctors are mannequins. The exit sign is past the bed so they'll have to go past to get out. The bed starts shaking and Annas stomach spurts out blood.
• Tsujiei and Hachiya sneak up on them with make up on to scare them - they succeed the tell the group to relax. They look at Anna and say somethings wrong - she'd normally sit up. She's not breathing...

• Conan deduces that due to the almond scent from Anna's mouth she has suffered Cyanide poisoning. Sonoko says by now she's most likely commited suicide.

  The exhibit is closed off to the public. Wataru Takagi and Inspector Megure arrive and interrogate the group.
