  Kogoro gives a speech at his Alma Mater's festival but it turns out he was only interested so he could flirt with the female students! Ran, Conan and Sonoko come along and aren't impressed.
• Sonoko then questions Ran about what happened in London with Shinichi. When Ran tells her that Shinichi confessed to her Sonoko yells in shock making the whole crowd turn around! But soon the crowd lose interest and the girls continue chatting.

• A man is muttering to himself about him wanting Kogoro to hurry up and finish. Ran intoduces herself as Kogoro's daughter and asks the man if he had business with Kogoro. He asks Ran if shes been to Crime Scenes with her father. Sonoko interrupts and says "all the time". They follow the man.
