Wakana Yamazaki (山崎 和佳奈 Yamazaki Wakana) (March 21, 1965 – April 18, 2026) was a seiyu from Yokohama, Kanagawa. She was raised in Kyoto.
In Detective Conan she voiced Ran Mouri. From February 16, 2026, she went on a hiatus due to health concerns, during which Akemi Okamura took over the role of Ran. A press release on May 15, 2026 revealed that she had passed from complications of her illness on April 18, 2026.[1][2]

- Yamazaki was very close friends with her co-stars Megumi Hayashibara (Ai Haibara), Kappei Yamaguchi (Shinichi Kudo), and Akira Ishida (Saguru Hakuba). She also received a personal computer as a gift from Akira Kamiya (Kogoro Mouri). She and Hayashibara met when they both auditioned for the role of Rei Ayanami in Neon Genesis Evangelion (which went to Hayashibara). She also considered Hayashibara one of her favorite singers.
