Takashi Kawaguchi (川口 隆 Kawaguchi Takashi?) is a Japanese animatior. He served as and key animator (mainly) and assistant animation director roles in Detective Conan anime and movies. He was originally from the Telecom Animation Film, and now affiliated with TMS Entertainment.

Works in Detective Conan

Takashi first worked for the movie Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy as an animatior. After that, he was active in the industry, until 2000, he joined the Detective Conan anime production. It was episode The Desperate Revival, Shinichi's Return, he was one of the key animators for that episode. Takashi also worked for several Detective Conan anime episodes in 2001, but after that he quited the anime production team. In 2022, he was back in the anime and did the key animation for episode Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story CASE. Kenji Hagiwara. In 2023, he worked in episode The Genius Restaurant as key animatior as well.
