- The 38th Detective Conan opening is now being used in the anime. It is sung by KNOCK OUT MONKEY and is titled "Greed".
- The 48th Detective Conan ending is now being used in the anime. It is sung by Mai Kuraki and is titled "Muteki na Heart".
Other
- A new anime special tentatively titled The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa: The Worst Day in History is scheduled to air in 2014 for the 20th anniversary of the manga.
- The Magic Kaito manga series has been announced to have its own anime adaptation that will air before Detective Conan beginning October 4, 2014. It will be animated by A-1 Pictures and has been stated that it will be a "completely new work".
