Flipping through Volume 24 of the English translation by Viz after seeing a query on Tumblr I discovered that the translation decided to use "Apotoxin" in Anita's (Haibara's) explanation of its connection to apoptosis. :I prefer Apoptoxin, although I don't really have a strong opinion on the matter because it's a made up word in a foreign language. The extra p lends itself to the usual Japanese tendency to smash two English words together to make a new one: Apopto + toxin. Apotoxin or Apoptoxin?

Flipping through Volume 24 of the English translation by Viz after seeing a query on Tumblr I discovered that the translation decided to use "Apotoxin" in Anita's (Haibara's) explanation of its connection to apoptosis.
