Chiharu Mukai (迎 千葉瑠 Mukai Chiharu?) is a Japanese animation director. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime.

Biography

Chiharu Mukai is affiliated with Azeta Pictures. She was first active in 2018, being credited as 2nd key animator and key animator in three episodes from Bakutsuri Bar Hunter. In 2019, she was promoted to animation director in anime Dr. STONE (produced by TMS Entertainment) and has remained active in that role ever since.

Mukai was first credited as key animator in Detective Conan in the same year, working under episodes done by Azeta Pictures. In 2020, namely starting with Episode 992: Murder at the Townhouse Café, she would start to perform animation direction.

In 2021, after working on Episode 1006: Who Poisoned the Victim, she would stop being involved with the anime production team and transition to Azeta Pictures' other projects outside of Detective Conan.
