Biography

Yorifusa Yamaguchi graduated from Chuo University (中央大学) and was affiliated with Studio Hibari (スタジオ雲雀). After his graduation, he debuted in the 5th OVA of Urusei Yatsura (うる星やつら), which was released in 1988[2]. After that, Yamaguchi directed an OVA animation work titled Level C (LEVEL-C), responsible for its manga adaptation[3]; whereby he later gained experiences with respect to directing romantic-comedy animations, also comical children's animations.

In 2003, Yamaguchi directed an anime series called Mouse (MØUSE), and was apparently adapted based on a manga created by Satoru Akahori (赤堀 悟).
