You dont study advance math at 13 :V

Oh yes I can. In our school, advanced math simply means above your grade level. So for instance, if the requirement for an...8th grader was to study Algebra 1 and they were advanced enough to study Algebra 2, that would count as advanced math.

@KKLT and Misaki-chan: <_< Don't laugh at my reactions to cheesiness.

In my school, advance math has a total different topic from normal math and only those with better grades can take them from age 15 onwards...

 I think in our school you're only allowed to go into advanced math after 5th garde.

...But I could totally be an 11-year old that's in 5th grade's advanced math. :V

I seee... Goes to show how our school functions differently.

We take normal math at 13 and 14 and whether or not you get to take Advanced math as an add on at 15 depends on whether or not you have good grades. It has a totally different curriculum from normal math. Anyway, your fifth grade is high school fifth grade? Or elementary school 5th grade?

it's most likely elementary school 5th grade- there are only 4 grades or less in a typical High School.

Our school doesn't have a 5th year in high school...it's freshman, sophomore, junior, then senior. After that we go to college.

So your 5th grade is elementary school?

No. They wanted 4 grades for each of the elementary, middle, and high, so they put it in the middle school division. However, most teachers still consider it elementary school.
