hopes 237 Report post Posted August 11, 2011 There's a father, mother and daughter that live together in a mansion. The father is rich (job?). He's stern to the daughter, but really loves and cares about her and his wife. The wife understands, but the daughter doesn't. The daughter's best friend invites her to go on a trip for three days. Her parents allow her to. Before she leaves, they give her a pendant. She leaves on the trip. She returns home to find her parents dead and the house ransacked. She's in shock and distraught. She(?) calls the police. The police believe whoever did this was after the key to the safe-box. (This safe-box contains some rare artifact, maybe jewel that is worth millions or billions of dollars.) The will said that the daughter is to inherit all of the money. Unfortunately, she's only 14. A female lawyer is assigned to the case of what money would be given to the guardian to take care of the daughter each month. She's really concerned over the girl, seeing how upset she is. The daughter is sent to live with her distant relative she's never met before. He's really nice to her until he finds out she doesn't know where the key is. He becomes abusive. The daughter runs away to her best friend's house. She tells the best friend everything that has happened, and the best friend decides to help. Now they're both on the run. While they're on their own, they're constantly being followed and attacked by the same people who murdered her parents and are after the key. Later on, the lawyer, still concerned, calls the relative and asks if she's doing alright. The relative lies and says she's doing fine. The lawyer decides to visit and finds out he lied. She decides to keep the money safe until she can find the daughter. ...A lot of stuff is iffy. :/ What do you think? UWAH!! I WANNA READ THE NEXT CHAPTER!! DX Wait, why are you stuck?
