Introduction

Hey everyone!

Obviously, I'm new here and I would like to start off by saying thank you for being a part of such a wonderful site. I'm 16 years old and I live in the U.S. So I'm at quite a disadvantage when it comes to the number of "Case Closed" DVDs I own. I already e-mailed FUNimation in which they proceeded to inform me that they "have no plans to introduce any more episodes/movies in English." So sorry if you're from the U.S.

I've been a fan of Detective Conan nearly my whole life when Adult Swim used to air Case Closed. Of course, that was around three in the morning so I'd wake myself up just to watch it. However, I've been watching episodes and movies on the computer and there are very few episodes in which I haven't seen. I'm pretty much up to speed with the Black Organization and the main story. It's just sometimes hard to recognize the Japanese version of everyone's names so forgive me if I seem confused.

Detective Conan is my all-time favorite show and I continue to wait in anticipation for each week's episodes. I'm not a big manga reader but I've started recently and I'm just passed the Steam Murder. Not only has Detective Conan made me want to learn to speak Japanese and visit Japan when I'm older, but I hope to become a world-class detective just like Conan.
