anonymously anonymous Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 The novelist Ernest Hemingway, was once challenged to write a short story in only six words,Hemingway's six-word story read: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” This was actually really interesting so I decided to share it with you... I also wanted to make this thread specially for the memoirs..... This sentence should contain only 6 words and it us usually relevant to the life of the person who wrote it .... So let me start first: 'Smile today, cry tomorrow, read everyday' Give it a try!

Akazora Posted September 20, 2014 Report Posted September 20, 2014 Oh my gosh, and Hemingway's response was really profound, that sly bastard. I'm so long winded but I'll give it a shot regardless. "My frozen heart beats for you." Also, this reminds me of a really short poem by A.R. Ammons that was only 9 words long. It was titled "Beautiful Woman" and went like this: The spring in her step has turned to fall
