Officer Kaoko Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 I hope I'm not too much for posting Samurai X things these days xD The first part of the two part OVA of the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin New Kyoto Arc will open in two Japanese theaters on December 7th, as revealed in the December issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine. It will remake the Kyoto Arc which was first seen in the original anime series. The said remake will have Misao's point of view and a major large scale remake on the battle against Shishio. Rurouni Kenshin New Kyoto Arc is part of the anime series' 15th Anniversary along with the video game and the upcoming live-action movie which stars Takeru Satoh and Emi Takei. The first part of the Rurouni Kenshin New Kyoto Arc will run for one week only at Tokyo's Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro theater and Osaka's Cine-Libre Umeda theater. The creators holds a contest asking fans to name the anime's first installment, and the winner's own name will be listed in the ending credits.
