Character similarities

Sometimes I watch other cartoon/anime I sometimes saw some characters similar to DC characters, like Timmy (Fairly Odd Parents),

They'll ask him like, where'd you get these stuff?

Timmy said : uhh... internet?

If in DC they'll say, how do you know?

Conan said : I saw it from the TV or... Shinichi-niichan thought me this.

(So like they give excuses, ALWAYS. . .)

So what'd you guys see?
