Brilliant.

*shrugs* Not really.

@IU: what about taiwan?

I haven't spent too much time studying Taiwan, so I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask for that information. I do have a few friends who know a lot about Taiwan...but they're answers would be majorly opinionated since they're Taiwanese.

However, I could go search it up for you in our school's database and get back to you on that.

Wow. That was awesome. Holy. You did an amazing job explaining, IU-chan! Seriously, that history "lesson" is more than I will ever learn in class. You're the best. x)

Thanks!! xDD

And what Mayu-chan said.........yeah, what about Taiwan? rolleyes.gif xP

:P To tell the truth, I learned most of that from a 55-minute movie we were shown a while back. I just went and rechecked the facts on Wikipedia.

@Mark: :V Is it surprising that I'm not surprised?

肉松 <333333333333333333333333

I once downed an entire can of it.

You're making me hungry. :P

I swear, when I'm on vacation, I will buy cans and cans of 肉松 for snacking purposes only. :D

I love it too! <33333333333333 What do you call that in English? :P :P :P

I believe that the correct term is 'Pork Floss'. :P

大家好 ! 你们身体怎么样 ? :D

大家好 ! 你们身体怎么样 ?

This translates to: Hi everyone! Is your body okay? (Or how's your health?) :P

If you want to mean how are you? :P

You should remove the "身体" OR, use 你们还好吗?

Okay :P

But the second option, can we remove the "还" for short ? Like "你们好吗" ? I hear many people speak like that.

Yep~

Actually 还 means still. So if it is added in, it will sound like "Are you still fine?" (It gives the feel of "long time no see, are you still alright?" kind of tone)

Anyways usually people don't say the 还. :P 你们好吗? is enough. :P

Hows your studying in Chinese? :P

Well, I've just learned some of the basic dialogues.

There are 4 main levels: Knows-Nothing < Elementary < Intermediate < Advanced.

I'm currently studying Lower Elementary so it's still more like Knows-Nothing :P You need to pass an examination to study Official Elementary
