Recently Nintendo won a 12million lawsuit towards a family providing free games online, making money via torrents. How do you guys feel about roms that a lot of companies refusing to release to their updated console and trying to sue others for distributing them for free?

Essentially, emulators are small programs that mimic the behavior of a specific game console. ROMs, meaning “read only memory,” can be many things – but in this context, a ROM is a digital copy of a video game.
