There's hardly a celebration for birthdays at my household. Both sides of my parents family lives rather far away from where we live, so they never come. The closest thing to a party we have is going out for dinner.

As for me, my father had two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister, while my mom had an older sister. Only my mom's sister got married and had two children, a boy and a girl. Both of my dad's parents are alive while my mom's mom is dead. That's pretty much my extended family.
