Well, I guess I'll get off my lazy butt and do it since I haven't written for a few days....
-------
After traveling for five days, they had arrived at their destination: Washington DC. After the sniper incidents, everyone was on the edge, but thankfully, nothing happened after that. As the bus drove through the streets of the capital of the US, Misaki marveled at the sites. She had never been to the city, so everything always seemed to amaze her. When they stopped for gas, she stepped outside along with the others and breathed in the fresh air and stretched. The sun felt nice on her bare skin and it felt great to be outside. Monsi filled up the tank, and after paying, the group was off.
At first, she was super excited to see the FBI HQ. Being the huge mystery geek she is, it was exciting. But after a hour, that excitement started to die down. She asked, "How much longer~?"
Monsi replied, "We're almost there!"
"Kay~!"
True to his word, the bus soon stopped in front of a large shiny building. A stone sign identified the building as the one they wanted. He parked the bus before everyone got out. They began to walk to the building and reached the entrance a few minutes later. Standing in the way was a large security guard. She noted a semi-automatic gun showing on his hip. He looked down at them and stated, "Kids aren't allowed here."
Grace said, "We're here to see John. It's about something important."
The guard opened his mouth to say something, but a woman, about in her thirties, came out the door and exclaimed, "Grace! Sam! Will! You're here! Jack, this group is with me. Let them in."
Jack looked at her for a moment before stepping aside and letting the group in. They began to follow the woman into the building. She introduced, "Well, I'm Sarah, nice to meet you! I'll be taking you to Mr. Freeman, who's in Conference room #7. He's been awaiting you."
After walking up a few flights of stairs ("Too many people to fit in an elevator and we don't want to lose any of you," she had said) and down a few hallways, they reached a pair of large doors. She opened the doors and popped her head in before saying, "The group is here."
A jolly voice responded, "Well, send them in!"
She opened the door wider to let everyone in. In the room sat an man, about in his fifties. "Hello," he greeted, "I am John Freeman. I've been expecting you."
