"Thanks."
IdentityUnknown waved off S. She was wearing a forest green jacket with a cap pulled over her eyes and a pair of khaki shorts. A sports bag was slung over her shoulder and her hands were in her pockets. She had had S drop her off in Manhattan. She'd take the subway to her final destination later.
She'd also left S with instructions to tell nobody where she had gone. She knew that at least part of the group would be looking for her by now...
Speaking of which...
IdentityUnknown pulled out her phone. A dozen text messages and missed calls glared back at her. She scrolled through the messages quickly.
"KAICHOU WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU?!"
"We're coming after you, Pyre."
"...You really need to stop disappearing. Where did you go this time?!"
There were several more like these, all of which she ignored. She scrolled to the newest message. Aeyra. That was what caught her attention. Aeyra didn't seem like one to...
"N and C are back. Team contemplating detaching itself from our group. ~A"
Matter of fact. Not opinionated. Short, but to the point. So much like Aeyra.
N was obviously Nero, C would be Chaos. Team would mean the Organization team.
IdentityUnknown wasn't sure how she felt about the situation. Nero, Chaos, Krev, and Brise were certainly the strongest and most experienced team she'd seen -- they'd also been great while they stayed. However, she had noticed they didn't quite seem to fit in, seemed a little awkward with the members and she knew none of them had fully opened up to anyone. She'd also noticed that while Misaki and Chelsea seemed to have no trouble coming to terms with the fact that they had had their memories wiped, Aeyra, despite realizing this earlier, seemed to be struggling to decide where her loyalties lay.
This, IdentityUnknown decided, was none of her business. Nero, Chaos, Krev, and Brise were certainly experienced. It was not in her place to judge them on whether or not they stayed -- that was their choice. Provided the Organization didn't lay hands on them again, she would be ok with them leaving. The only part that somewhat bothered her was Aeyra. She'd have to make up her mind quickly.
IdentityUnknown knew Aeyra didn't have much time. To be truthful, none of them did. As she slid her subway card into the slot, she knew that the end was drawing near and there was something she needed to get sorted out.
