Parabola? Or at least that's what I thought when looking at the problem.

...Did Misaki-chan leave?

IdentityUnknown slowed as her friends came near, feeling a little uncertain. "Kaichou!" Misaki nearly squeezed her to death. "You need to stop disappearing!" IdentityUnknown winced. "Little air...Misaki...chan..." Misaki loosened her grip. KKLT came next. "You run too much," she muttered. IdentityUnknown smiled briefly. "But I always come back, don't I? "Anyways, we need to get going. KKLT...Monsi...Misaki...everyone, we're splitting into two groups. These two groups will be in close contact the entire time through radios. And...everyone...where's Tsuki? And have you heard anything from Aeyra?" To this, everyone was silent. IdentityUnknown grimaced. She took out her phone again (the phone bill, she thought, was going to be extraordinarily expensive after this entire ordeal), and dialed in someone else's number.

:V <333333333333333333333333333333333333333 That...is the...stupidest...reason to attend MC. Maybe, maybe not. :V

I could totally solve that Math problem but I'm too lazy to get out my graph paper. :V :V <3 </3 NO RANDOMLY LEAVING WITHOUT WARNING. *clings* @Mark: <3 No, I am not, but I don't want you to end up like your dad either.
-
<3 I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever! Hey, don't drink TOO much.
-
Nah. :V Fiiiiiiiiiiine. Will see. Can't believe I missed MM yesterday. </3
-
:V I'm not fighting with math. Mark! <3 :V :V :V But it's Math! ;______________________;

Math? *automatically decides to leave Misaki-chan to the sharks*
-
Or do we? Why is it that even when he's not around, the topic always turns to Mark? :V
-
You're now seeing who has been seeing you
IdentityUnknown replied to Conia's topic in Introduce yourself
But I don't see you around much. :V -
^ I was a perfect angel when I was 10. Ok, fine, I was not a perfect angel but I was always mature for my age. I believe (or think) I am decently mature for my age right now as well. :V ...Wait, what grade was I in when I was 10? :V ...Oh, that year. :/ I didn't like that year. Not at all. Most annoying age right now though, is 6-7th graders. Grr. Can't stand them. Especially those girls in 6th grade prancing around with boyfriends. Don't like 6-7 year olds much either, though when I help out in church, it's fine. Just my sister...

I've never eaten spaghetti in McDonalds, no. :V All I usually see on their menu is cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. Since when did they serve spaghetti?
-
They have spaghetti in McDonalds? *insert envious look here*

*runs* And I don't care what explanation you use. ------ IdentityUnknown flinched slightly as she saw KKLT trembling. She didn't want to put her friend in a position like that. Not at all. She had the real copy of the notebook with her, and she remembered how she had felt when she'd first seen it. Still, it was best to have a copy on hand... "Let's look for her." IdentityUnknown knew what those words meant. For a moment, she debated running. Then she sighed. She'd run away from her problems for a long enough period of time. She dusted herself out and walked into the open. ------ Fine, I didn't run. :V

IdentityUnknown woke up dizzily. Crap. She'd slept for 2 hours. She sighed. She really needed to give herself a break. Too many nights of staying up until 1. Grudgingly, she cleaned herself up and walked out of the hotel. She'd love to go back to sleep, but that wouldn't be very good for timezones (how she hated them) and jet lag. A walk around Osaka wouldn't be too bad. Maybe she'd even buy a few DC... No. She wasn't going to go into DC as fanatically as she used to. Oh whatever. It was a vacation. She was going to enjoy herself.

IdentityUnknown was at the brick building. Ok, so she hadn't originally planned to be there. But she figured that after KKLT and the rest found the clues, she might as well appear and get them going. A while later, a taxi came over and dropped two people off. Monsi and Misaki. KKLT and a few of the others came later, apparently they had separated to appear less conspicuous. Tsukiko, IdentityUnknown noticed, was not there. "Alright," IdentityUnknown heard KKLT say, "Pyre should've either left something here or is here herself. The latter is less likely, so let's try searching the area for something she may have left behind." IdentityUnknown listened as the group searched for her notes (a copy) quietly. She was a little nervous about Monsi standing in the front of the brick building, keeping an eye on everything (she thought he was in open space and an amazing position to get sniped or worse), but she couldn't exactly speak out. "Found it," Sayomi called from a corner. The rest of the group, excluding Monsi, hurried over. "A notebook, or a copy of one," KKLT muttered. "It says 'To: Jean' on the front." KKLT flipped it open. Her eyes widened and she dropped the notebook. "What is it?" Misaki asked, worriedly, picking up the notebook herself. ------ Continue, KKLT, continue. :V

*shrugs* Just basing off of what Tsuki said.

Been a little slow-paced, haven't we? I suggest we start speeding this story up. ------ IdentityUnknown sighed. She couldn't avoid it forever. She pressed in the numbers and made the phone call. Time to wrap this thing up. She took out what she had received from John. She stared at the photograph of Mark's body for a moment, then turned the page. She didn't want to dwell on it. Grimly, IdentityUnknown wondered how long she'd be having nightmares after this. She glanced at all the clues, then wrote down a few notes. KKLT should have the same information. "Hello?" "Hey," IdentityUnknown breathed. "It's me. It's time we got this case closed." ------ :V
-
Hmm. Alright. Give it a shot. ------ IdentityUnknown stepped out from the Osaka airport and couldn't help feeling a little...out of it. Everything that had happened in NJ had, frankly, rattled her and she found herself constantly looking over her shoulder -- more so than she used to at the very least. She was dead on her feet. All she really wanted to do was check in to a hotel and crash. It had been several months since the case in NJ had been wrapped up and the first time her parents had (grudgingly) let her travel by herself. She no longer traveled with anything that had to do with DC, excluding her laptop of course. She figured it'd bring nothing but trouble. And to be honest, she'd had enough trouble for a lifetime. IdentityUnknown hadn't really been in contact with most of her DCW friends after NJ. It was just one of those things that she wished she would forget, that she tossed and turned in bed over, that she over-thought. And while she loved the friends she had made, at the same time she almost wished she had never gone. Why she was at Osaka had nothing to do with that. It was really just a break, a break from everything. IdentityUnknown waved down a taxi cap and stepped into it. Her white cap was pulled a little over her eyes, the more inconspicuous the better. As she pulled out her laptop, she couldn't help heaving a sigh. She missed everyone on DCW. She missed them a lot. But then again, it didn't matter anymore. That part of her life was over. She was here to have a vacation. Nothing more. Nothing more. ------ :V
