I don't have a long welcome thing... I should make one. Let's see... *starts typing* Hello, welcome to Detective Conan World! (which we all call DCW cuz it's a pain to type.) This is a great place to discuss the Detective Conan plot, share fanfictions, share drawings, and just chat with other members! But before you get started, there's a few members who you must get to know. Maurice is the administrator, but you'll see he doesn't post as often as most of us active members. He started the website, and is basically its designer. The mods are Southpaw, CarpetCrawler, and Chekhov Macguffin. If you ever think something's wrong, tell them, and they'll take care of it. IdentityUnknown (also known as Pyre and Kaichou. Don't get confused) is the top poster on this website. We don't know much about her, all we know is that she is younger than 17 and her real name is Jean. (it took a long time for her to reveal that.) We actually have two whole threads in the Chatroom section dedicated to discovering her identity. At one point, five of us formed a little hacking group to try and pin point her IPN. Moho-kun (who I will discuss later) seems to have gotten the closest with his brother (they're the evil Colorado brothers!), but they still failed. Help us discover her identity. Mohorovicic (Moho-kun) is the second top poster, however, he recently had to leave DCW to prepare for college and whatnot. All of us are kind of depressed, so, if we start moaning over Moho-kun, it's because he left. He used to change his username often, and I used to harass him over it, so if Pyre gives you my description in her introduction and says 'Aeyra loves harassing Moho-kun over changing his username', it's because of that. Akakata is a member who acts a little stranger than the rest of us. You can recognize her by her -um- kind of creepy laugh. Something like that. She is well-known on fanfiction.net for her story, Into the World of Detective Conan, which you might have read before. She loves Akako (hence the laugh) and is currently into Ouran High School Host Club. (but she likes DC better!)Aeyra (me) is the self-announced math freak of DCW. My real name is Amy Z. (though my last name has been revealed throughout the forums) I'm usually willing to help people with homework and whatnot, and I also deal out advice in the drawings section. I like to color things with photoshop. I used to be a huge poster, but I've died down a bit. Actually, I'm really sick of typing this now. Hmm... ... ... ... There's a lot of other members you should know (A.K.A. everyone) but if I start listing them, I'll end up forgetting somebody and they'll kill me. My teachers would never do that... And I'm only in middle school. They'd probably trust me ('specially my math teacher since I'm her fav student), but that still sounds kind of odd. I do community service for free. I have over 100 hours logged in as a volunteer at my library. -.-' Now if I was paid for that, I'd be so rich, but I like doing it for free. Disney Land? Good luck! Well, I didn't think I was much of a social networking person (refused Facebook and everything) and yet I love it here since everyone is kind of like me. Maybe you should lightly mention it and then see what she thinks.

Okay, if you want to know what gave me the idea, blame Cure-kun's most recent drawings. Mine is crappy, the ink is way too thick, and it took me ten minutes to draw, and therefore it is inferior. But, still, whaddaya think? My brother looked and said 'Ran looks too much like a man'. Me: 'Shut up. She's supposed to.' I wasn't really looking at anything, so once again, it's crappy. Enjoy..

Box! XD I dunno. I still haven't gotten the hang of drawing outlines, so I usually just go all out and then fix up later. I think the eyes are how you make them. They've got to be filled with the emotion you want to show. Haibara looks enigmatic here. Nice.

This is why fans exist. So we can give him hype. I think the cases where he's the only goal are actually some of the most interesting. (excluding the ones where Heiji comes in. I want to see a chapter where Heiji is battling Kaito and Hakuba pops in for no apparent reason! That would be so cool! Forget about Shinichi!) Even though I have no understanding of the language, the way Conan simplifies his letters are probably some of the hardest riddles he gets. About the development- I think he does that when Gosho writes parts of Magic Kaito. I think he's taking a break from DC sometime this summer and writing a chapter or two of MK instead. Most of the time when characters show fear, Kaito shows us a Poker Face instead, which also contributes to the 'lack-of-character-development' cuz Conan doesn't know about the magical Poker Face. XD In other words, I think Kaito is in no way overrated. (but seriously, he and Hakuba (as Kaito and Hakuba) should show up sometime.)
