The series has a lot of time discrepancies. I find it very absurd that no less than a year has passed since Shinichi shrank. But, accurately, if we were to count days and cases, how much time has passed?

Indeed. I first started watching DC when I was 11, and I was going through a phase which very much took every bit of innocence away from me. I was obsessed watching snuff films and other types of gory shock videos in the internet, only to get traumatized so badly I needed to go to a psychologist. Then, I discovered DC. It was fun, but at the same time, cases like Mountain Villa Bandaged Man Murder Case, The Haunted Mansion Murder Case, and pretty much 1/3 of the first 100 episodes were scary enough to leave me with nightmares.

I'd expect Anokata to be a very experienced middle age man, who lives very much to the traditional Japanese way of life. Something intimidating but at the same time, and I don't know if this is the correct way to put it, a force worth being respected, a force you'd never like to make enemies with, for all that is sacred. Like the Yakuza or its leaders. The only difference being that the Yakuza like to go out in public, while the Organization tends to be secretive. As for Rum, I really have no idea. I can't picture that character. If they do not look old, they may be the same as Vermouth. Maybe the Organization's ultimate goal is to achieve immortality by the completing the development of APTX-4869, or older experiments Haibara and her family worked on.

I always had curiosity on Gosho's unique drawing style for the eyes. For instance, characters from Japan would have that unique eye/iris drawing style whereas foreigners and Black Organization members have a simpler style for their irises(Except for Mizunashi Rena and Rei Furuya when they're not posing as Black Org.). Japanese characters, when surprised or scared, have their iris style changed into the more simpler style. Also, some characters have smaller irises than others, usually female characters have big ones while male characters tend to have smaller ones, for the exception of a few. Is there any particular reason for this? Examples: Conan, who is Japanese. When surprised. Jodie, who is from the USA. Chianti, who is Black Org. Rei Furuya, who is Japanese. Rei posing as Bourbon/Black Org.

I think the reason I started liking her was because I took her pity in how she relies on Shinichi for everything, however, I do agree with the fact that she has become less interesting as the series progressed. And I dislike the fact that as a character with so much potential and great fighting abilities(I mean, she IS a Karate Champion) she is easily scared and very gullible. A shame she is not dependable until she understands very clearly what she must do.

I'm guessing this is because the series is not that known in the west as it is in Japan, but I'm glad the forum is at least having some activity. For a couple of years, I always browsed around the Wiki spying government agencies, but never really wanted to joined the forum until now.

Has the B'z song in the official trailer for The Darkest Nightmare been released for download or something yet?

I used to dislike her because she was like the Mary Sue of the show, but I re-watched some older episodes and the 2nd and 4th Movie and really started to like her. Is there any reason why people hate her other than the Mary Sue thing?
