So! This is a thread of, basically, letters. Kind of like Dear Blank Please Blank, but you don't have to wait for DBPB to publish it. Can be thanks, but I'm guessing it'll mostly be to annoying people. No, you don't have to use "Anonymous". Something to start us off... Italics - tentative Backup Moderator List - IdentityUnknown - Misaki-chan Requirements to be a DCW IRL moderator - You must be able to keep track of the storyline and keep the plot moving in some way, maybe by posting an event every two or three days. - You must have good grammar and spelling. Note: this does not mean flawless, but your English grammar and spelling should be sufficient enough to be understood by others. - You must be experienced. You must have actively participated in at least two DCW IRL rounds (or the first DCW IRL round). To be deemed an active participant, you must've contributed to the thread at least once every two days. You must also have actively participated in at least one DCW IRL round in the last 60 days. The exception is listed below. - If you have obtained special permission from IdentityUnknown or Mohorovicic, you do not need to have participated in two DCW IRL rounds. This special permission lasts for only one round. Finally, a moderator should be responsible. They need to be able to know when they cannot manage a thread so it can be handed off to someone else. What exactly does a moderator do? A DCW IRL moderator is also responsible for notifying the members the day before the time limit ends as well as posting on the thread if the writers have not posted for 5 consecutive days to give them a chance to continue. The mod may also post something in closing after the time limit and plot resolving period have ended. After 5 consecutive days without posting, the mod may feel free to end the thread in any way they choose to. Inactivity - If a moderator fails to post an event for a period of three days without properly passing off their position or notifying others, they will be kicked and the game temporarily suspended until a capable moderator is found. If no such moderator is found, the game will be discontinued. - A moderator may choose to pass off their position to another moderator. The same rules apply to them and they must pass the requirements to be a DCW IRL moderator. Backup Moderators - Backup moderators can be consultants and can take over an RP should the original mod not be able to come on or should they feel the need to relinquish their position. Those who are available as backup mods are listed above. Moderators may choose from the list or they may ask to choose an unlisted member as a backup mod. This member must meet the requirements as a moderator. - If a member wishes to be a backup mod, they may PM IdentityUnknown. If they wish to remove their name from the list, they should also PM IdentityUnknown. Backup mods who have not participated in a DCW IRL round recently will have their name removed. Moderating Tips To sign up to be a DCW IRL moderator, simply PM IdentityUnknown. Moderating positions are handed out on a first come first serve basis if you meet the requirements. Please do not request two rounds at the same time. If a mod drops the thread by either not posting an event for 4 consecutive days or by handing off, the next moderator can take over or the thread can be taken over by another member. If the mod reappears within three days after handing off or not posting and requests their position back, it will be returned. After that period of time, the thread will officially be taken over by the new mod. Do not reply to this this thread. Note: this fanfiction is a half-way collaboration between theownerer and MeitanteiSnow. This story is about us two online friends getting sucked into the world of DC. Ch. 1 MeitanteiSnow's POV As I logged in DCW, I saw theownerer had came online too. I quickly went to personal messenger to chat with him. theownerer: Hey, what's up? MeitanteiSnow: My day was really bad. Enough said. theownerer: yeah, me too. MeitanteiSnow: it would be nice to escape reality sometimes.... theownerer: yeah... Suddenly there was a bright glow in my room. It got brighter.....And then darkness. When I finally came too, i was in a park and I saw a figure lying down next to me. I looked at it, or him, i saw he had short black hair and he was wearing a Japanese uniform. Suddenly a small wind came and my legs felt cold. [Cold? I'm wearing jeans today...] I looked down and saw that I was wearing a blue skirt. Somehow, the jeans had been traded for a skirt. I looked at my top and saw that I was wearing a blue vest with a three-quarters white collared shirt. On that vest I saw a logo. A VERY FAMILIAR logo. Teitan High. Just I was looking at my sudden change of clothes, the boy next to me had woke up. He, too was inspecting himself and was surprised at what he found, too. I turned around. The boy had blue eyes, and was wearing a Japanese uniform I also know too well. It was the school uniform that Heiji wore in the detective battle in Three Days with Hattori Heiji. He looked me like I had an explanation. I didn't. It was awkward for a moment until he spoke. This time he had a look of recognition in his eyes. "MeitanteiSnow?" I looked at him. "How did you know? Who are you?" I managed to say. "I'm theownerer." He replied. What? It couldn't be.....but somewhere down I knew that it was the truth. I also figured something else. I spoke again. "Looks like we managed to get sucked into the real Detective Conan world. I can't believe I'm animated." It's true. I quickly whipped out a mirror from my skirt pocket and looked at myself. I now had waist-length brown hair, and brown eyes. Just then I heard a voice calling "Yuiki!" "Kageyama!" Another called. Those voices sound very familiar... As I thought that I heard footstep running towards us. A hand clamped on my shoulder and I spun around. There they were, Conan Edogawa and Heiji Hattori standing in front of me. "Where were you two, you made us worry!" Conan said. Heiji added "Ya also made us go around lookin' for ya." Ran and Kazuha ran up to join us. "Yuiki, where were you?" Ran said. [Yuiki? Does she means me?] and Kazuha said "you too, Shiki, where did ya go?" [shiki?] "Yuiki? Shiki? What do you mean?" I spoke out first. Ran, Conan, Heiji and Kazuha stared at me. Conan spoke first "Yuiki-neechan, don't you remember? He continued "You are my-I mean Shinichi-niichan and Ran-neechan's childhood friend and Shinichi-niichan's partner. You two are the Detectives of the East" Heiji added "You too, Shiki. You're Kazuha and my childhood friend. And ya are detective partners with me too, we are the Detective of the West" "We are WHAT?!"

Dear Anonymous, There is a lot I would like to say here. Words I never said. Thoughts I never spoke. Doubts I never voiced, hopes I never admitted. It's taken me weeks to write this and none of this can sum up how I feel. But maybe that's good. It means I care. Live and forget, right? Nothing lasts forever. But I was so happy. In a world that sometimes feels so bleak and hopeless, happiness is fleeting. Pain is easier to remember. Joy is hard to hold onto. That's why it's so precious, right? Do you remember? Do you remember the sun and the waves and our laughter? I'm sure you do, but do you remember them the way I do? Sometimes I wonder. But no matter how you envision them, I always think of them the same. Happy. Whether we were mocking each other or messing around or downright serious...I can feel happiness in all of those memories. A joy that so many crave that I have been so blessed to receive. I would love to relive those memories and let my imagination wander off. I want to laugh with you again. But I know from experience I can't hang onto those memories forever. And I hate that fact, but it's the truth. I miss you. I've said it. I miss you, I miss you, I miss you. I...don't know what to say now. That's really all I needed to say. All I wanted to say. At the same time, there is something more, something else I need to say...yet as much as I try, I can't put it into words. By the time I see you again, I'm sure it will no longer be so. ShinxRan! After all, Ran's the one who has been waiting for Shinichi forever. I think they really deserve to be together! Why does everyone skip ConanxAyumi?

Since it would be awkward to pair a teen with a child (even if they are both mentally teenagers), most people use either Shinichi x Shiho (teen form) or Conan x Ai (child form).

Dear Anonymous, It's been a while. 3 years since we broke up. What went wrong? We both loved each other. We were committed to keeping this relationship. But yet, we fell apart. Why?
