The windows slam open and a shadowy figure enters... this isn't what Yamakazi planned!
The guests hear a gun being shot and rush upstairs to find Yamakazi dead.
Inspector Megure tries to reassure everyone the investigation won't take long.
Shinichi Kudo arrives and explains his theory.

Kogoro Mouri's angry - Shinichi's putting him out of business!
Shinichi gets too cocky, Ran Mouri reminds him to watch his step.
Ran asks Shinichi if he would just have one real girlfriend. She then asks why he's staring at her.
