Mayo Nozaki (野崎 真代 Nozaki Mayo) is a Japanese animator and technical director. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.
Biography
Mayo Nozaki originally graduated high school from Konodai Girls' School's high school section (国府台女子学院高等部) in Ichikawa, Chiba, and later studied at the faculty of arts of Nihon University in Tokyo. By 2014, she lived near Kami-igusa Station in Suginami, Tokyo[1].
Her first time working in anime was in the production advancement team for episode 15 of M3: The Dark Metal, which aired in 2014. Her first major work was as episode director in 2017 anime-original series Tsuki ga kirei and she continued since then as episode director. Her first work with Detective Conan was as episode director in episode 955, which aired in September 2019. She would retain the position in three more episode, the last being episode 995, which aired in January 2021. In 2024, she is a technical director for movie 27, The Million-dollar Pentagram, directed by Chika Nagaoka. She was additionally a director for the ONA Sōsō no Frieren ~?? no Mahō~, which aired in 2023 and served as storyboard artist in anime series since 2024.
