Hirota (広田 ,Hirota) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background

Hirota is a young detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He loves Sato and thus jealous of Takagi, much often to boycott with colleagues their appointments. Superintendent Matsumoto puts always awe to him. He meets Conan in several cases and is surprised by his great deduction only during Takagi's kidnapping, but Conan justifies himself saying that this is what Shinichi told him first on the phone. He reports directly to Inspector Megure information on cases in presence of Kogoro.
