- The 44th Detective Conan ending is now being used in the anime. It is sung by BOYFRIEND and is titled "Hitomi no Melody".
- The 36th Detective Conan opening has been announced. It is sung by B'z and is titled "Q&A". It will begin being used on May 4th.

- The 17th Detective Conan movie entitled "Private Eye in the Distant Sea" has been released in Japanese theaters as of April 20, 2013.
- A new movie featuring a crossover with Lupin III has been announced and is set to be released in Japanese theaters in December 2013.
