Heiji Hattori invites Kogoro, Ran, and Conan to a celebration of the opening of the K3 Restaurant by three American celebrities: a boxer, a baseball player, and a soccer player who Conan admires. Later a murder occurs and Conan is acting strangely as the three celebrities are suspects.

    • In this case appeared a character named Ray Curtis, professional soccer player. He got it's name of a popular detective named Rey Curtis from Law & Order series. The only difference is in first name where is "e" exchanged for "a". Conan is also his big fan.
