:Personally, I don't think it would be something significant because, the boy chasing the lizard scene never appeared in original manga work, and thus was solely added by anime. So I suppose it was only a little interesting detail, since Kogoro guessed the "frill-necked lizard" initially. Frilled-neck Lizard
I noted something odd in the beginning of this episode. Right before Ran, Kogoro and Conan presents the answare to the riddle, there is a boy and a frilled lizard running in the foreground.
