Template talk:InfoBox TV - In need of technical assistance :S
Hi Nakamura. I'm sorry to bother you with this, I always try and stay out of the moderator's lane, I know how busy you can be. I tried posting my question on the page's talk, but nobody answered me and I thought that maybe no one could even see that I edited the page. Therefore, I'm writing to you, hoping not to disturb you more than needed. This is my problem: I'd like to add to the anime episodes pages a link to Detective Conan Anime Shonen Sunday Comics Visual Selection (but only for the episodes that were actually transposed to manga), just like the box present at the bottom of the template in the movies' pages. Is there a way to do it? I apologize but I can't understand how this works, the code is too difficult for me. Also, I'd like to link Detective Conan Movies and Specials Shonen Sunday Comics Visual Selection to Detective Conan Lupin The Third Vs Detective Conan Special, The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa: The Worst Two Days in History, Detective Conan Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small, Conan and Ebizo's Kabuki Jūhachiban Mystery, Detectives' Nocturne, Mystery Train, The Scarlet Return, Holmes' Revelation, Black Impact, The Gathering of the Detectives! Shinichi Kudo vs. Kaitou Kid, Conan vs. Kaitou Kid, Kaitou Kid's Miraculous Midair Walk, Kaitou Kid vs. Makoto Kyogoku, The Scarlet School Trip, The Betrayal's Stage, The Wizard of the Ripples, Kaiju Gomera vs. Kamen Yaiba, A Dual Mystery on a Full Moon Night, The Trembling Police Headquarters: 12 Million Hostages, Parade of Malice and Saint, The Girl from the Black Organization and Reunion with the Black Organization as well.--Vsc (talk) 16:15, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
How do I add these words
I want to know how I can add these words after I finish editing… and where the arrows are in the image… like the phrase
(moving to dedicated page). --Manvel (talk)
Request for Review of Recent Edits on the “Let’s Talk with Gosho Aoyama Day” Page
Dear Nakamura, There is a user named floofboy who has been making many changes in an inappropriate manner on the Let’s Talk with Gosho Aoyama Day page. These edits appear to be intended solely to promote his page as the “professional translation,” while implying that other translations are machine-generated—such as through the way the year titles are written. This has become quite frustrating.
He seems eager to promote his page, and I have no issue with that in principle; however, changing the year headings arbitrarily according to personal preference is not acceptable.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and help find a solution.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding. --Manvel (talk) 22:40, 6 February 2026 (CEST)
- For full context on this matter:
- Last year, in 2025, I had difficulty creating a wiki account, so I asked a friend of mine to add my Let's Day 2025 translation to the page in an additional section. User Manvel reverted this change with no explanation, so I went to receive confirmation from the admins in Discord that multiple translations would not be an issue before reverting their reverts. I asked in their Talk page for their reasoning on why they reverted my translation, but received no response- they silently deleted my discussion months later.
- Also in 2025, they silently overwrote my anan interview translation with their machine-translated version instead of adding it as a different version.
- This user themself noted that the translation was "edited" by them, as opposed to translated by them. It is not incorrect to mark it as machine-translated, and I also noted the previous 2024 Let's Talk day translation not by them was also machine-translated. Knowing which translations are machine-translated is important so contributors who know Japanese know what still needs actual human translation.
- There is no reason to mark this user's version of the Let's Talk Day without their name when there's multiple versions available for the year. The only reason not to would be if this user wants their version to look like the "main" version to promote their own version. The formatting improvements I made also, in my opinion, make the page easier to navigate. If they claim their work isn't machine-translated after all, it would make sense to remove the "Machine-Translated" annotation, but there's no reason to remove their name.
- I have been repeatedly frustrated by this user disrespecting other people's translations. I have never removed their work, and only annotated their section header after they refused to acknowledge that the translation was missing a large chunk of the questions. Initially, I just marked it as "incomplete" with the expectation that they'd update their version and remove the annotation, but instead they refused to acknowledge it at all.
