Yuuichi Higurashi (日暮 裕一 Higurashi Yuuichi, November 13, 1957–July 2001) is a Japanese screenplay writer from Chiba prefecture. He started his screenwriting career since 1979, a television drama series called Seibu Keisatsu, working with Hiroshi Kashiwabara, Takeo Ohno, and Junichi Miyashita.
In 2001, he died of cancer, with only 43 years old.
