Kana Kawana (川奈 可奈 Kawana Kana) is a Japanese animator and technical director. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.
Biography
Kana Kawana first started working in animation in the anime series Meganebu!, which aired in 2013, working as unit director for episode 8[1]. The next year, she was a storyboard artist for the first time in the anime series Cardfight!! Vanguard G, which aired until 2015. She continued landing technical positions for anime series regularly, although she was inactive in 2016. In 2020, she was for the first time assistant director, in the anime series ARP Backstage Pass.
She joined the Detective Conan production team in 2024, becoming a technical director for movie 28, One-eyed Flashback, which aired in April 2025. She was involved for the first time with the anime series in 2025, being the organizer and storyboard artist for episodes 1169-1170, which aired in late July to August 2025.
