Sigma Seven Profile

Go Inoue (井上 剛 Inoue Gō?), born April 19th, 1978 in Saga, Japan, is a Japanese voice actor currently working with Sigma Seven.

In Shin Samurai-den Yaiba he is the voice of Kojiro Sasaki.

Biography

He had a passion for games since his school days. When he was in junior high, home gaming consoles were becoming common, and around that time, voice acting started to appear in games. That was when he first learned about voice acting as a profession. Wanting to someday hear his own voice in a game, he set his sights on becoming a voice actor.

After graduating from Saga Higashi High School, he went on to study at the Amusement Media Academy in Tokyo and completed the program.

Once in vocational school, he quickly realized that many of his classmates already had stage experience, and he felt he may have jumped in too soon. Still, he threw himself into training. Known for being very anxious, he often practiced late into the night. At times, he felt discouraged, thinking his voice lacked any special qualities. But by 2022, he had come to accept his voice, believing that it's okay for voices to be diverse.

He started out with Stardas 21 before joining Sigma Seven.

He voiced Spain in Hetalia: Axis Powers, and when Spain won the 2010 FIFA World Cup, his X account was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans.
