Appearances

First off, thank you for your contributions here at Detective Conan Wiki. I've noticed quite a few edits from you on the character appearance articles. In the future, however, when adding to these articles, please make sure that you:

(a) Stay consistent. ~~ I've noticed today that many of the entries you added are copied directly from other Appearance pages, some of which I spent hours compiling. Generally speaking, this is good for the sake of consistency, but on the other hand, not everything is current and accurate right now. Stylistically, when there is a two part episode or an arc of multiple episodes on one article, we add #Part 2 or #Love is 0 (depending on the situation) to the end of an episode link. Clicking on the link will automatically bring a person to that specific episode's corresponding section. Although it can get a bit complicated, especially when dealing with Clash of Red and Black, this helps keep things more precise. After doing it for a while, it becomes second nature. When I looked at the stuff you posted, I saw a little bit of the new style I just mentioned, as well as the old format. Try to stay consistent with future edits.
(b) Check for and fix redirects. ~~ Another thing I noticed is that certain entry links you copied are not up-to-date with new name changes. I'm currently going through each character one at a time and fixing old links, so it would be a huge help if you would double check the links before you finalize your edits. If the link is red, that means there is no such article. If the article that a link brings you to says (Redirected from...) at the top of the page, that means the link you clicked on is no longer valid. Simply replace the old title with the name of the article you were redirected to.

I hate to be a nag, but I wanted to bring this up in order to help you with future edits. As I type this, my brain is off from exhaustion, so I apologize if this did not explain things clearly. Let me know if you need me to explain in more detail. Thanks again for your hard work and I hope to see you continue contributing here at DCW! =) --Jigsaw 02:43, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
