It is confirmed here: アニメスタッフ間では、娘も警視庁の鑑識員として働いているという裏設定がある。実際、アニメの作中には若い女性鑑識員（声 - 半場友恵）が数回登場している。[Between animation staff there is a back side setting that daughter also works as a judge of the Metropolitan Police Department.
