Takeshi Furuta was from Sunrise (サンライズ). He also uses the name Joji Furuta (古田 ジョージ Furuta Jōji) outside of Detective Conan.
In the Detective Conan anime, he only served as episode director for Episode 555: Stork Mystery Tour (Haruna's Pursuit Chapter). For the Detective Conan movies, he only served as technical director for one movie as well.
