I found the movie to be a bit disappointing, really. Especially Moriarty’s portrayal. :| Admittedly, I think the slow motion scenes kind of ruined it for me. >_>

Reviews say that the second movie is horrible compared to the first; that there is not as much of a mystery, and how Robert Downey Jr. pronounced some words differently than usual.

I disagree with these reviews.

I own the first movie, but I went to see the sequel twice. The first movie, I would rate about 8.5/10, but the second easily gets a 9.5/10, only because I wanted Holmes' quote to Moriarty: "If I could be assured of your complete and total demise, I would, in the interest of the public, gladly accept my own." (Not exactly accurate, but that's the gist).

I cannot wait to purchase this on DVD (I won't buy blu-ray discs until DVDs are outmoded).

I do love the climax and ending. I don't know how to use the "spoiler" thing, so...
