I used to be a ShinRan shipper (wasn't we all?) but after season 8, I became a CoAi. I believed that Haibara would more suit Conan because of how many times they risked themselves to save each other, how they were in the same situation etc. However, I realised that Conan was wholly oblivious to how much Haibara cared for him and many fans of Detective Conan wonder if Conan continues to protest Ai for general care or so that he could get an antidote to go back to Ran. So what do you think? Who should Conan truly end up with (ignoring the obvious ending of Detective Conan that Conan turns back to Shinichi and marries Ran)?
Shippers of DC Romantic, best partners and rivals . I would like to know the opinions and preference of all about all the three or any specific one The poll is just a mere speculations and this post is open to arguments and other options P.S: Each one of us has his/her own opinion and preference, do not criticise the choice of others, Thank you
One of Gosho's answers in the latest Q&A session got me to thinking: "If Karate were in the Olympics, Ran would win the Gold Medal" I was thinking about something along those lines between my latest emotional breakdown between the hiatus periods of the alternate Bourbon story. Something that might give the Shin/Ran relationship some dramatic strain and depth. Perhaps during a break from school, Ran gets into a rather big karate tournament, and wins a major championship. Next thing you know, she's achieved a pretty sizable amount of fame, such as Shinich when the manga began. She's doing endorsements and magazine covers etc. Ran finds herself so busy with her new found notoriety that she doesn't have the time to communicate with Shinichi over the phone any more, nor spend much time at home with Conan, which causes him to feel somewhat jealous. This could also cause more reasons for him being unable to tell her about his secret, what with her becoming a public figure. I haven't figured out how it would be resolved, but it would be kind of a background event sprinkled throughout the story.
