Hi All, I recently joined the forum. I've seen a number of the TV episodes (up to about 208 now), and several of the animated movies. I'm curious, what are the OAVs? Also, what's all the chatter about live-action stuff? Have there been live-action shows or movies? Thanks for any info you can give - I'm anxious to learn all I can!

Wait, TAGAKI has voiced something about Conan?! When was this? Man, I can't wait to see that episode.

I'm wondering, Satou sure seems sharp. Has she ever given any hint that maybe she suspects Conan is more than he seems?

I'm curious. I've seen poor Conan get whacked in the head quite a bit, but Ran has never (at least as far as I've seen) struck him. Given the trouble he's sometimes caused her, I find that a bit surprising. Anyone know of an issue where she DID actually smack him?

I have to wonder, Satou seems VERY sharp, you think she's at all suspicious of Conan?

I'm only up to episode 193, so I can't speak for later episodes; however, among those my favorites are - in no particular order: Second Season (don't know episode name or number) - the doctor who gets the money and toys, and Ran almost figures out Conan's secret. LOVE the ending where she confronts him, and then Dr Agasa saves the day (and Conan's skin!). 34-35 Mountain Villa Murder Case - I LOVE when Ran is asleep next to Conan and he can't think because he's distracted by her mouth. 96 (et al) Caught Up with the Great Detective - it's neat seeing Ran almost figure things out with Conan. A great two-hour special. 129 The Girl from the Black Organization - nice addition to the world of Conan. 140 SOS Message from Ayumi - I like seeing an episode where the kids work things entirely on their own. 156 Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story - another neat use of the kids, and it's hilarious to see the entire police force racing to find the two missing officers as they think the suspect is hurting the lady cop. A bit sexist, yet still funny. And the addition of the bomb in the building adds to the tension. 188 (et al) the Desperate Revival series - Ran again close to discovering Conan's secret, a great kids' mystery in the cave, a close call for Conan, and then a great episode with Shinichi AND Conan together. THAT really caught me off guard! Anyway, there's my input.

How about "Dare Sensei"? If I understand Japanese correctly, Sensei means doctor/teacher, and Dare is Who. So, seems appropriate, eh?

I'm curious, I'm kind of new to the series (only up to episode 178), and I was wondering about Inspector Megure. Ran has come close to figuring out Conan's secret several times, has Megure?

Hi All! Name's Andrew Robinson, I live in Orlando, Florida, and I've been a DC fan for a couple years now. Stumbled across the series on some channel or another, and was instantly hooked. Me, I'm a BIG Sherlock Holmes fan from when I was a kid (about Conan's age), so I started researching the show. Currently, I have the first two seasons on DVD, and one movie. So, what do you all chat about? Is it true they're looking to make a LIVE-action series? How is that possible? What, they going to change Conan's every couple years? Drew
