  1. Steins;Gate..

HaAaaaA.. It was okay, good okay. I only know little about physics so that's a minus for me but it is still interesting. The interactions between characters are fun/ny, I enjoyed that part. Hearing Miyano Mamoru's voice was fun too, refreshing in a way because the last time I did, it was from Yagami Light who doesn't know humor. I don't wanna spoil so I won't say much other than it being about time-travel... uhhh Akihabara culture, maybe and saving the world, somewhere along that line. It is mysterious and has a trippy feel especially in the earlier episodes.

Coincidentally, before that I was watching, more like scanning through Dragon Ball and there's time travel in it too!

  2. I guess I have an explaining to do that is long overdue.

First of, the reason of change. I just wanted one username to use in all the forums I go to because it's easier for me to remember that way.

Second, there's really no meaning to this username aside from it's literal one. Arashi means Storm in Japanese, well you could say it's also a sort of homage to Matsumoto Jun's boy band (lol! not really). And uhh 0556, if you read one piece then you may or may not know what I'm talking about but it's Lucy's participant number in the tournament. so yea...

  3. Battle Royale- no words just holy sh*t

Kamisama no Iutoori (As God Dictates)- Very interesting read but I don't recommend it if you don't like gore. It is classified as psychological, thriller, mystery dark shonen but I think it should be seinen though. Gore and deaths aside, it is an awesome survival game series but it is not the usual Battle Royale style. High School students are forced into this series of games which includes Darumasan ga Koronda (I don't know western version of this game) and if they are eliminated, they get killed right away by the game maker. All the games are creative and really, if you are interested in Japanese culture you get to learn lots of those from here.

Must read if you can tolerate gore and the other things which makes it so interesting.

REAL- One word: Masterpiece. If you liked Slam Dunk (same author), then you might like REAL as well only that in REAL, the plot does not revolve around basketball (wheelchair basketball to be exact) although it still remains as the three main characters motivation in life. The title describes it exactly. The story itself feels so real that it made me laugh so hard but then after a few pages I was crying for so many times.

  4. Come on DC fans, we all know it's Ran, right?

    Mouri Kogoro

Sometimes there are things that are too simple to read or see which most tend to overlook. Kogoro is nothing but a fraud going with the flow of whatever comes his way for as long as he benefits from it, after all his Detective Agency is on the verge of bankruptcy prior to the appearance of Conan. Not only that, he is addicted to gambling, horse racing to be specific, and does nothing but drink beer. He even let his wife live separately from them and not really thinking about whether his daughter would be more comfortable to be living with his wife than with him.

But who cares about that? Really. This is not the real world.

Sometimes, things are more complex than what it seem and I want to believe that Kogoro is one of those. I don't want to be disappointed by the end but I still refuse to believe that he is exactly what he is on the surface without some form of action coming from his head.

He is too simple that it's almost suspicious.

Or maybe not. Maybe I'm just overestimating him.

So far, none of major characters has given me that kind of interest, not even Shinichi/Conan because we always see his perspective or Ran, unless she's the Boss which is very unlikely.
