It sounded like she was pretty exhausted. Fatigue perhaps. "Pyre..." "............" "...How are you?" ".........I'm okay. Thanks..." The conversation was pretty awkward. KKLT didn't really know what to say to Pyre on the line. Of course Pyre called with a purpose, but the two of them didn't really know how to approach the topic. "Erm..." KKLT scratched her head, "Have you... found out anything yet?" KKLT was searching for a topic. She knew that this was Pyre's purpose for calling. She wouldn't have called just to find out whether we are alright. Locating her will come later. KKLT didn't want to tell her that they shifted their attention on getting back to base instead of searching for her. "Actually... I have found out some information..." Pyre hesitated. "But it would be inconvenient to explain through the phone..." "Then.. shall we meet?" KKLT asked. "Where are you now?" "I am... somewhere." Pyre lowered her voice. "I'll call you again when I decide on the location. See you." And Pyre hung up the phone, much to KKLT's disappointment. "What did IU say?" Monsi asked. "She said she found out some things..." KKLT sighed. "...but she didn't tell me where she was when I asked. She just hung up the phone, telling me that she will decide on a place to meet." Meanwhile, Misaki returned with the food in her hands. "Hey guys! Im back~! Looks deliciou-" she stopped when she saw that Monsi and KKLT's facial expression looked weird. "What happened?" Misaki placed the food down on the table and looked at the other two. "... Misaki chan. We might need to take away the food and have them on the van." KKLT looked a little worried. "...Why? I know we are in a rush... but I think we can do with-" "Pyre's called." KKLT cut into Misaki's sentence. "Huh-huh? What?!" Misaki glared at KKLT wide-eyed. "Did she say where she is?" "Nope. But we have to be prepared to meet her soon." KKLT stood up from her seat. Monsi followed. "But we can't meet her before we reach base. We have to hurry back now." "Ri-right... I'll go get us some bags..." Misaki dashed off to the counter again. "Will this be alright?" Monsi asked. "I hope so..." KKLT started to look worried.
