Good for you. I failed Algebra two years ago... that explains why I took it again last year. I got B for my overall grade last year... everyone scored about the same. What's your definition of 'okay'? I have horrible estimation of standards. 'A' is too good for me, and 'C' is crap for me. Which is why I hated my scores for Humanities and Physics last year. I might cry out of pure joy if I ever get an A. Got it once for Science- but maybe that was in a dream or something. SATs... I'm still studying. And worrying if I will be any good on the Math part.

I think that they invite the top students of the school for MUN... not someone like me. Really? And do Middle School teachers count? Speaking of which, I better find those MUN forms you were talking about there ^

GPA... don't get me started about my GPA. It was crap last year... and my dad said that I'd better work harder this year. I thanked God that he wasn't holding a ruler or a cane. 87 is good. 75 is bad. 87 will be a B+ or an A-. But 75 would definitely be a C. That sounds like my dad too. I can never get those type of grades. I'm just not good enough. Strangely, my parents consider me to be their most academically-minded child, though I've only gotten close to 90% (for an exam) once in my life. They take my score (Stanford 10s) and my siblings' scores and yell at them (sister and little brother) about how my scores for the spelling section are okay compared to theirs: 'Look at your sister, she didn't miss any spelling words this year! And last year she only missed out one!! Out of the entire section!! And you guys- can't even get 80% for spelling! Don't you know how easy spelling is?! It's supposed to be an easy A!!' It's not like that for the other subjects... not to mention that I had no idea about the definitions of 'inches', 'yards', 'miles', 'quarts' and 'cups' for Math. Why can't the Stanford 10s just use the metric system?! Maybe when I have more free time. I have to get better grades for Humanities, Biology, Geometry and Chinese this year.

That would be so creepy :/ If my parents actually came and known about DCW, they'll probably tell me to stop 'wasting time away' and all. I kinda feel bad that they yell at my sister so often :/ and she's just watching anime.

Though I really hope that they would accept me... I'm probably not good enough and all. Nope. Not yet. I'm planning on reserving it until I finish reading the ABC Murders.

My parents were glad when my poem was published... but then I stopped writing and tried focusing on grades, on I never submitted anything else.

I've only ever gotten my work published when I was attending Elementary... I never topped the class or anything.
